About this Author:

As a child, multi-published author Ty Langston loved to read about dragons and knights so much that one day, her grandmother told her to "just write about them."

So she did.
From that day forward, she never left home without her pen, a notebook, and some kind of music playing in the background. Her love of reading expanded from fantasy into science fiction, and eventually into paranormal romance and erotica.

She enjoys different works from George Martin, Anne McCaffrey, Stephen King, and Jackie Collins. But some of Ty's favorite writers are from the world of TV and film: namely, Tudors creator Michael Hirst, and the late John Hughes.

Ty has a certificate in Broadcast Journalism along with a degree in Business Administration. She is single and enjoys spending time with friends and family.

My Thoughts:

This books was just way too fast! It was decent but could have been great or even awesome.

Don't get me wrong, I liked it but I wanted to love it. :-( It felt like there were holes that could or should have been filled in. I really wanted to know more about the characters, both in their past and in the present.

The main characters and even some of the secondary characters were really likable and charismatic. This was a huge plus for me.

I liked the Evan and Hayley together but this felt rushed. It seemed like they skipped a few steps between meeting and doing the mattress mambo. Even the steam seemed rushed. I know it is a novella which equals quick, but that doesn't mean the story should be hurried along and details skipped.

This book is for those of you who like them quick and hot, with a decent plot and good characters.

I received an ecopy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. As I said before, this was a decent read with plenty of potential to be great but it just didn't quite get there. I am hoping that the author will give us more of these characters maybe in a full length book? I would happily read it!

  1. we can hope the author will extend it one day, i don't like when it feel rushed either and when the story has a lot of potential i'm disappointed to see it rushed

  2. your review is pretty much the same as mine. LOL It was like one minute they finally talked to each other, then the next conversation they were revealing stuff way personal after basically just meeting then it was sex. But I did really enjoy her writing and would have loved it to be a full length book. So I'm completely with you on this one. :)
