Julie is representing demi gods. :-) Thank you!
What is your
favorite type of monster to write about? Read about? I’m
completely addicted to gods and demigods, specifically from Norse mythology.
Thor and Loki pulled me in years ago and my obsession has gone madly out of
control since then. Can we call the gods and demigods monsters for this
interview? Because I really like thinking about them. A lot. Like, a super
creepy lot.
What do you envision their greatest characteristic to be?
Their worst? I think
their greatest characteristic is their loyalty and dedication to a cause. Gods
and demis are relentless pursuers of purpose. I can’t finish my laundry.
What two
creatures would you love to see go toe to toe in a battle? You will be judged
for creativity. ;-) Feel free to describe the battle. HA! I
dare any creature to go toe-to-toe with my guys. Thor and Loki are formidable,
nay, impossible to beat when they align their superior abs and intellect. Okay,
now all I can think about is Chris Hemsorth’s abs. I need a minute.
Choose three of
the following and tell us what your creature would do with them, make out of
them, use them for or what reaction they would have to them: an apple, an
gemstone, a silver chain, a fish, a rat, a deer, a toad, a piece of pizza
heavily dosed with garlic, a flower, treasure belonging to someone else, fire,
a spider, a worm, a ball of string, a microphone and speakers, a wooden club, a
mirror, a book, a cemetery, a boat, a moonlight bonfire, a sunny afternoon, a
walk through the forest on an overcast day, a wooden stick, a Popsicle, a
broom, a tree, a lost person, a baby, a body of water, a cross, a cage, wolfs
bane, a rock, a rubber band, a chicken, a rabbit, a cave, rope, or a piece of
candy. Thor
would rescue the lost person, then bring me the flower and candy because this
is my fantasy.
Loki
would tie the rope to a piece of candy, hide behind a stone and whack Thor with
the wooden club every time he tried to get the candy. (I realize I said every
time, like more than once….but seriously, his face though….) LOL!
Which type of monster do you think would make the best love
interest for your monster and why? The worst? What?
No. No. No. I would make the best
love interest for Thor. I would take him from Jane Foster so fast she’d never
catch me because we’d fly away to Asgard where she can’t follow. She’s smart
and pretty. She can find someone else. I hear Loki’s available.
What scares you? Everything. My shadow for starters followed by strangers,
animals without people, horses, monkeys, Oompa Loompas, driving someplace new,
bugs, heights, the highway, semitrucks, dark alleys/parking lots/garages, scary
movies and sometimes their commercials…I could go on but I’m getting freaked
out.
What is your monster most afraid of? What makes it happy? My
demigods fear nothing and they love to battle. They gain strength from
strenuous competitions and especially from their victories. Also from a good
snog.
What type of candy would you be apt to grab? Give out for
Halloween?
I’m an
equal opportunity candy eater. I’m supposed to give it away for Halloween?
*locks door*
What is your monster’s favorite meal? My
demigods like meat and potatoes. Plus, all the other things I shouldn’t eat due
to: increased blood pressure, odds for heart disease and size of fat a$$.
What do you think is the most mis-construed idea about demi
gods? I think
people misunderstand how sexy they are. Not just their lean, muscular bodies
(though, yeah, those) also the chiseled jawlines, perfect skin, breath that
smells like mint and unicorn tears, and the sharp alpha male mentality…*fans
face*…what was the question?
What is a least known trait about them? Demigods
are people too. They want love as much as we do. So, next time you’re faced
with one of these gorgeous deities (not Thor. He’s mine)…kiss him till he knows
you love him. You won’t regret it.
Awesome interview and thank you for sponsoring today's giveaway as well! :-)
