Blurb

Readers of Fifty Shades of Grey and Bared to You will savor a visit to Club Inferno, the erotic playground where glitz and glamour mix with leather and whips.

Deep in the shadows of her exclusive fashion resort, Couture, Colleen Bryant presides over a much more intimate world: Club Inferno. The successful businesswoman and sex instructor has built an empire that caters to the BDSM elite, but now she finds herself longing for something a bit more ordinary: a man to love. She’s not sure how to find someone who will accept what she does for a living—or the kinks that drive her wild—until her old flame, ex-pro football player Chase Fairwood, comes back in her life.

There’s no woman as hot, sexy, or exciting as Colleen—and Chase knows it. He also knows he’s man enough to play her games, and to give as good as he gets. His return to Club Inferno reignites Colleen’s scorching demands, along with a new determination to test his resolve. Soon he’s competing against a rival Dom to brand Colleen as his own. But Chase has a secret weapon: the burning desire to offer his body—and his heart—in sweet surrender.

Fever is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.

 My Thoughts:

This is book three in the Club Inferno series. As the title suggests, it is extremely hot.

There is sex and sex talk through out the book. If this is not for you (yeah right!) don't read this or any of the books in this series.

I myself thoroughly enjoy the major sex scenes. It is obviously nothing I would ever take part in so I enjoy living vicariously through the characters in books. ;-)

This particular book stars Colleen. She is the owner of a dual business. One part of the complex is a legitimate fashion business. The other half of the building is super secretive and is a BDSM club, Club Inferno.

Collen was my least favorite heroine. She lost her dear husband Alfie but she had a relationship with Chase before that. She was fine as a person so it wasn't that I disliked her character. She is a dominatrix and I just don't relate to a woman being in control.

Chase is an ex football player. He is a big guy and not used to the club scene. It just seemed a little to hard for me to believe. This big guy who didn't really seem inclined to "submit", submitting to this woman who wouldn't compromise at all. was a little hard for me to swallow.

It was sweet in a way. I mean for a guy to put himself through all of that just to be with a woman even when that is not what he's really into. He must realllyyy want to be with her. Right?

I was super happy to have all of the previous characters still around. ;-)

This was my least favorite but I liked it none the less. I am a fan of this series through and through.

I received an ecopy of the book in exchange for my honest opinion. It is another scorching addition to the Club Inferno series.

  1. I have this series on my wishlist. But this one didn't excite me as much as the others. But I'll more than likely read it once I read the others.

    2. They cant all be winners all the time.
I'm sure I'll still enjoy this one. But I just don't find the idea of the female being the dominate one very hot. I'm ok with some role reversal sometimes but I just prefer it being the men.

    1. Yeah, I figured as much. ;-) I was like you once upon a time and then one day I started reading them and I haven't looked back. Perhaps that will happen to you eventually too?

    2. LOL I'm pretty sure I've always been a bit twisted but I started out reading horror way before I ever touched romance so the darker stuff in romance just never bothered me.
