ReplyDeleteIf I were a witch, I'd be like Sandra Bullock's character in Practical Magic. (Yes, I know it's based on a novel, but I haven't read it yet. I just hope the original character is close to the depiction in the film!)
never heard of that movie or book^^;;
DeleteI haven't read the book either, but I loved her character in the movie too! I wonder if it is the character or just Sandra Bullock's spin on it?
DeleteI liked the movie better. The book was good but it was a little different from the movie. And Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are totally what made it work.
DeleteSo before i trie tyhe question i must answer this^^
ReplyDeletei would like to be able to cast healing spells. My favourite witch ^^ DJ from the sentinell of new orleans series in a tie with Rachel Morgan from the hollows series
and what i can recommend?: The hollows series, Grave witch ( love it^^) or teh sentinel of new orleans^^
now i see i still have a lot of witch books to discover so perhaps my list of favourite will get bigger^^
I haven't read the Hollows series yet. :-(
DeleteIts really good! I've read like the first 4 or 5 of them.
DeleteI'd also have to say healing spells. I also love Sandra Bullocks character in Practical Magic. I like the movie on that better than the book. Rachel Morgan is probably my favorite witch still and I'd recommend those books. Or like Miki said The Sentinel series is really good. I loved the Kelley Armstrong ones. I know theres more but I cant think of any at the moment.
ReplyDeleteAnd I watch Hocus Pocus all the time!!!
DeleteYay!!!! :D All the time as in round the year or all Halloween season long?
DeleteAll the time! LOL I quote it often too.
DeleteI love The Secret Circle series.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!
I liked the part that was originally written but I haven't been able to talk myself into trying the books that weren't written by her. Grrrr!
DeleteMy favorite witches are Rachel Morgan (The Hollows) and Chess Putnam (Downside Ghosts).
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! I love Kelley Armstrong's books on Witches. Waking the Witch is one of my favorites. <3
ReplyDeleteI agree with Sandra Bullock's witch character! And maybe a teensy weensy bit of Hermione too?
ReplyDeleteI love her too! If Hermione didn't read think of how much trouble Harry would have been in! More so than he already was! LOL :)
