I am a sarcastic, sometimes foul-mouthed, not afraid to drink a beer, always southern woman with 2 of the most amazing teenage daughters, a menagerie of animals and a voracious appetite for reading who recently decided to write the stories running through her brain.

I read my first book, Dr Suess' Cat in The Hat by myself at 4 and was hooked. I believe a good book along with shoes, makeup and purses will never let a girl down and that all heroes of all the books I have ever read or will ever write pale in comparison to my daddy!

I am a sucker for a happy ending and love some hot sweaty sex with a healthy dose of romance.I am still working on my story but believe it will contain all of the above with as much SPICE as I can work into it.

My Thoughts:

This book was pretty darn good. I haven't read the previous books yet. :-( It stood alone really well.

I read it fairly quickly. I really liked the cast of characters except for the traitor. Maybe it was because I didn't understand where he was coming from, but he got on my nerves!

The heroine was a Doctor. She was loyal, fiesty, stubborn, special and understanding.

The hero was a dragon shifter named Aaron. He was loyal, fierce, protective, sweet, and adorable in his attempts at wooing his mate. ;-)

There were more supes in this series than just dragons but you have to read for yourselves to find out what else!

You will find an entertaining and action packed plot, romance and some steam, and of course shifters and such. If that sounds good to you, put this one on your TBR list or grab a copy to read today.

I received an ecopy in exchange for my honest opinion. I liked it enough to collect all of the previous books in order to catch up and be ready for the next book. Now I just need to squeeze in the time to read them!
