My Thoughts: 

J.C. was kind enough to give me an ARC to read! Thank you! Those of you who have been with me for awhile know that I have read all of her books that deal with this couple (Brooke and Jett).

It all began with the Surrender Your Love series. There were three books in all. Then came this series, No Exceptions, this is the third book in it. It is wise to read them in order!

All of these books have intense chemistry, a bad boy and good girl, secrets, agendas, lies, romance, possessiveness, jealousy, lots of danger and action, mystery and did I mention the sizzling sexy moments?

In the No Exceptions series, this has been by far the best book to date. It explained so much! Yet also left us with more questions. J.C. is masterful at mixing my emotions, keeping me dangling and rapt with attention all at the same time. I simply can NOT ever seem to get enough of her writing.

The suspense of the overall series plot kicked up tenfold in this book. It has my head spinning with the possibilities of what is happening and what will happen next!

Then you add in Jett's sex appeal and Alpha tendencies and oh momma! I am telling you they can just look at each other and my temperature soars. The way he talks to her and their intense couplings. I am waiting to self combust, it is so hot.

As hot as it is though and boy is it, there is a lot of suspense and danger wrapped around each of them and their relationship. In other words, this series and more importantly this author, does what so many fail to do. J.C. blends all of the elements together evenly. This is not a book that focuses on sex though there is plenty of it. This is not a book that focuses on danger and action and leaves romance on the wayside. No! This is a wonderful, perfect combination of all of my favorite parts in equal measure and balanced so that I am thrilled, turned on, engaged, emotionally invested, hooked and never wanting to finish with her books, Now that this one is done, I can't wait for the next and final book in this series, The Lover's Proposal.

If you like suspense and bad boys who turn good for the right girl, you NEED to read these books! You are missing out.
