Cover Reveal and Giveaway ~ Found by Alyssa Rose Ivy

So you all know how much I LOVE author, Alyssa Rose Ivy .

You also know how crazy I am about her Crescent Chronicles series.

Today I am sharing the blurb and cover of book three Found!

Did I mention that there is a giveaway too?

One lucky person will win a Smashwords code for one of Alyssa's books! The books to choose from are pictured at the bottom of the post. Good luck!

Alyssa Rose Ivy is a Young Adult and New Adult author who loves to weave stories with romance and a southern setting. Although raised in the New York area, she fell in love with the South after moving to New Orleans for college. After years as a perpetual student, she turned back to her creative side and decided to write. She lives in North Carolina with her husband and two young children, and she can usually be found with a cup of coffee in her hand.

The cover is definitely . . . eye-catching . . . ;-) But after a while, the wings leave a bit more to be desired.

The blurb seems written for those who already know the series well--a group that doesn't include me. =P It's easy to figure out Levi and Allie's relationship to each other, but who is Jess? It makes me wonder about the plot descriptions of other series books, and whether they're written to make sense to "outsiders" as well. The next time I pop into a bookstore, I'll do a quick survey.

    1. You mean to tell me, with all that skin available, you actually noticed the wings? lol! ;-)

    2. Also, Jess is her BFF from the first book who was kidnapped at the very end of Focus.

  2. Oh I like the cover, a hot male body with angel wings is never going to get a response out of me other than I LIKE IT.I agree with the above comment, a little more description in the blurb would help those not familiar with the series or even new to the series.
Seeing as I am new to the series I would definitely chose Flight so I can get started on the series!

    1. Ooooh it is good! The cover and Flight.

You are both right. She probably assumed that most people would start with book one and work their way up.

    2. Yeah but what if someone sees this book and doesn't realize it's part of a series. The blurb doesn't really hint to the series.
But I understand what you're saying...I tend to do a lot of things out of order. So sometimes I will see a blurb for a book that is in a series and it will prompt me to read the first one.
Covers are like a first impression but the descriptions are suppose to be like the impressive pick up line! lol

    3. I hear you and you are right. It should be more clear that it is the third book in a series.

I'm pretty sure that it says it on the book somewhere though!

  3. The cover fit for the series but it's true the blurb is only interesting for those who know the series already, it seem evident i can't be read as a stand alone at all^^. too many questions

If i won i would pick book 1 of this series " flight" that caught your interest ^^ ( if the pdf is available on smashwords of course^^;;)

    1. True enough. It does seem to cater to those of us already in love with the story.

That being said, sometimes not knowing what is being talked about, will peak my interest even more.
