Canadian girl Gwen Knight first began to delve into the realm of the paranormal at the age of ten, when she wrote her first horror starring a clawed monster that hid beneath her bed. Since then, her tastes have expanded into many genres. Though addicted to reading and writing, she managed to achieve a degree in archaeology, geography, and mapping. Currently, she lives in the Great White North with her husband, two collies, and black cat. She loves meeting new people and you can visit her  website, facebook page, or twitter. Her latest book is the paranormal romance, A Hunter’s Passion.

My Thoughts:

This book was a really quick read but there was a good bit of story between those pages!

Basically this was a story of a man named Ryker who fell in love with a woman named Jenna  Theirs was a forbidden love.

You see, Ryker was a hunter and so was all of the members of his family. They hunted darklings, supernatural beings that were perceived to be evil such as vampires, werewolves and witches.

Jenna felt that by leaving Ryker, she would save him from having to choose between her (a witch) and his family. That was just wishful thinking though because the day has come that her name was brought to their attention with the order to kill her.

Ryker was awesome. He was good, loyal, caring.... all of the things we love in a hero. :-) Jenna was a decent character too. She was selfless, trying to spare Ryker the pain of making a difficult choice.

This quickie had some steam, ;-) romance, action, suspense and a band of brothers to keep us entertained in future books. :D

I liked it and I think you will too! I received an ecopy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

  1. 55 pages that short but you makes it sounds like it still feel complete so i could be tempted one day because both characters sound interesting
