Sedona Venez is guest posting today! :-)

10 Things I Bet You Didn’t Know About Storm (Storm) Credence from “Breaking the Storm”

Okay… so I thought it would be fun to do a post about “Ten Things” I bet you didn’t know about Storm Credence (the main character) from “Breaking the Storm”. So here we go…

1. She was born and raised in New York… Go New York!!

2. She’s a shoe fanatic.

3. She is a descendant of witches.

4. Storm despises wolf-shifters… but Knox eventually changes her opinion on that topic.

5. She loves all things music… especially Knox.

6. Storm has a tattoo of a nude witch riding a broom on her back.

7. Her favorite season is… Fall.

8. After a hard day of work… Storm strips down to her fishnets and nothing else for a half of hour.

9. Her all-time favorite music artist… Knox Gunner.

10. Storm’s favorite cuisine is Thai.

Thank you for enlightening us. :-) I easily figured out #5. lol!

Book Description:

Stormy Credence was destined to succumb to the Credence family curse—they all did.

Stormy is put to the test one more time, when the one man that she never wanted to see again—‘Rock Star’ Knox Gunner comes blowing back into her life—back to claim what’s his—Stormy. This time he will stop at nothing to prove that she belongs to him in every sense of the word…

My Thoughts:

First let me say that I really liked the cover. ;-)

I had a hard time getting into this book at first. The prelude was a little daunting for me.

It didn't take long to get back in the grove though and in the end I liked Breaking the Storm.

I really would recommend this book to those of you who like shifters and magic, music and curses. There was so much sizzle that I would only recommend it to adults! ;-)

I liked Knox better in the beginning of the book than in the end. While he was definitely an Alpha male, I wasn't feeling his Dom ways. He even seemed cruel when he called her his slut. I was not impressed.

Storm seemed to be very clueless a couple times and I was frustrated with her as well.

This story as over too quickly but had an ending that I can live with. :-) I'll look forward to reading the next book in the series.

I received an ecopy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. This book is good. The only reason it wasn't great (in my opinion) was Knox's Dom like tendencies and Storm's too easy acceptance as well as her lack of common sense at times.

  1. I hate some of those pet names! Im sorry I do not want to be called that and omg do I hate the whole whose your daddy thing! That just grosses me out! LOL I do remember commenting on the cover for this. Its awesome! I love that she has that tattooed on her back. Thats really funny! I'll more than likely read this one since shifters and magic. But thanks for the heads up on it! :)

    1. That grosses me out to Amber!

Oh and how does it feel to be #1? Miki is almost always the first commenter. lol!

    2. ^^ it's not the first time she comments first thankfully^^ people would start to think i don't leave the computer^^

Really to have you back Brenda, i hope you had a lot of fun

    3. I'm glad to be back. :-) Thank you for devoting your time to comment. :-) I appreciate it.

      As for camping,

It was eventful. One of the twins had to get stitches. :-( The shock on his bike broke catapulting him. It knocked the wind out of him. I was surprised that he wasn't worse off than he was. Now we are finishing school shopping and getting ready for school to start next week. Yay!!! (for the start of school not the shopping lol!)

    4. ^^ books shopping is more fun yes. I'm glad it wasn't worse though...did that make him afraid to get back on a bike or not?

( and for the blog it's nothing, i was glad to have time so even Amber could have some impromtu without any of us getting worried^^ and you have a great community so it's not a bother at all)

    5. I was utterly surprised that he was riding (his brother's bike) again later that day. He didn't even need to be talked into it. :D

    6. really good news ^^ we often forget how ressourful they can be

    7. boys will be boys. My nephews are the same way. They just shake it off. and yay Im #1 at something! LOL :) Glad to have you back!

  2. The cover is great but from what i just read not a book for me at all i would be too unconfortable to say teh least oki teh shifter part interest me but i'm not into bdsm reads so even if i wanted to try this doesn't seem to be to right book to start..

    1. It's really not as bad as some of the others that I've read but perhaps you should hold back if you are apprehensive. At least wait and see what Amber thinks. :-)

    2. better that way yes and after all i still have a lot of books to get before i come to this one so worries

    3. Geez all this pressure on me with books! LOL I dont mind the bdsm stuff that much but sometimes I agree that it gets to be too much. I could never do it though. I'd laugh in their face when they wanted to boss me around.

    4. I hear you there. And I really, REALLY, don't get the whole slap my ass thing. lol!

    5. LOL I'd probably turn around and hit them back!

    6. I also have to laugh at the whole I own this. You are mine stuff. Im sorry. Im the one who has to clean and take care of myself. So no its mine. :)

    7. i would like to think i could fight back but i'm afraid i would be too paralysed, petrified by fear...

    8. The whole point of it is supposed to be trust and stuff so they arent really hurting you but I just dont see myself ever being able to go into that mindset.

    9. ...i still don't see what trust has to do with speaking badly to someone...

    10. I think thats supposed to be them talking dirty but I agree with you. It doesnt make me feel sexy.

  3. This book sounds great and I am looking forward to reading it.
