VBT: Nearly Broken by Devon Ashley ~ spotlight and giveaway

Book Description:

We’d both gone missing at one point, but Claire had one thing I didn’t. Someone to notice. So why was I the one still here and she the one still gone?

Nineteen year old Megan Smith has spent the past year working in a small town diner in the middle of nowhere. Life is quiet, simple, safe. Then comes the news that her look-a-like has gone missing.

Claire.

Still damaged both physically and mentally, Megan's not looking to be noticed. Wherever she goes from here, it's a road she needs to take alone. But when Nickolas Ellis takes the job as the new nightshift cook, it scares her how easily her defenses crumble down, down, down for him. But there are secrets she can't bear to share with just anyone, unspeakable acts that continue to haunt, and when the similarities of Claire’s abduction couples with the fear of an unwanted visitor in town, the urge to run before it all happens again intensifies, threatening the only happiness Megan's ever found.

  5. This does sound really interesting. :) They always say that we all have dopplegangers out there. I was once told that there was a nun that I looked like. So does that mean I'm the evil twin? :D

    3. Im still confused as to it. Im finding out ones that Ive read before are now considered it. I think it said something like if the main character is between like 18-24? College age generally?

    4. I know that Beautiful Distaster is considered one. I dont know if you read that one or not yet. I know we talked about it along time ago.

    5. i've gotten it but i haven't read it so it makes 2 i'm sure are considered NA that i own ^^ ( for those i've read i would need to remember the character age now^^)

    6. yea but i know that ive read others in that age range that I dont think are classified that so I dont really know. Maybe they are but just dont advertise that way? I know that its basically supposed to be a bridge between young adult and adult. But those NA have sex in them so there def. adult. So very confusing. :/

    7. i think it's only a marketing stuff so i will stick with books i love the summary before checking teh genre ( less confusing)

    8. Yes I definitely agree with that. When I first heard the term I was soo confused. It was back when I was still at Barnes and Noble and a lady come to me asking about it. I had no idea! So I still do what I normally do and just look at the description and see if its something I like.
