I am very excited about this cover. :-) I think it is really beautiful.
Behind the Mysts, hidden from Mortal eyes, is a land where Gods and creatures of myth and legend dwell. And in the Mortal Realm, their Princess lives.
Quinn Sinclair is clueless to who she is. She thinks she's an ordinary young woman—well, mostly ordinary—living an ordinary life with her less than loving mother in Conifer, Colorado. On the night of her birthday, Quinn finds herself betrayed by a man who sends her life spinning out-of-control.
As she struggles to pick up the pieces, a vision of a man with haunting tourmaline-blue eyes begs her for help, and she finds herself transported into a Magykal battle forever changing her life.
Arik Morgaine—demi-god bad boy and outcast of the Magykal Realm—tried to avoid contact with Princess Quinn Sinclair for eighteen years, not wanting to make good on an old threat. But the fates have other plans. Arik can no longer deny his growing desire for Quinn, or the need to protect her from those wanting to control her burgeoning powers. Can the two of them come together and save the Magykal Realm from being destroyed by the Darkest of Magyks, or will powers beyond their control destroy them and their world forever?

I really like this cover as well. It does seem magical. I think that was the idea. lol! Aside from that I just think it is beautiful!Delete
At one point, the other day you were down to 64, if it's any consolation.
^^ i won't give up don't worry, it's just strange sometime but i will manage after all you do have a post every day and always good questions so in 2013 i will beat 100! ( and when i reach that level i will want more again ^^;;)Delete
the colors are really well done ( better since it's linked to teh story) this cover is fitting and i guess that make me even more interested in the book ( not because i do love the cover so much but because i think that if the one how this teh cover got his idea from the story, conversations wxith teh author etc then the story must really be well done too )
I'm sure you'll beat 100 in no time at all! I agree. I doubt she'd put so much effort into making a beautiful cover and not care about the story! :DDelete
LOL Miki, yeah, it's been rough on me this month, because I had to change accounts. So, as I watch one name drop down the other moves up the list. So, I technically have more comments for the month, it's just on two different names :( Then of course, I got sick and haven't been online as much over the last week or so. Trying to catch up tonight ;)Delete
i guessed you weren't well because normally you do xcomment more quickly when a post is up. i hope you are getting better ( and i do add both your name you know to have a better idea of where i'm :) but it seem i can go up 80 each day i'm near then under arg the psychological new block of 80Delete
OMG I LOVE the cover. Very vibrant. And it sounds really good too! Thanks for sharing I will definitely pick this one up! :)ReplyDelete
I thought it was beautiful too. It is indeed very vibrant and it is original as well. If the story is half as good as the cover, we are in for a real treat! :DDelete
That is a beautiful cover! I love the bright colors. The intertwining colors that seem to connect them, while they hold hands with their backs to each other. Like they are working together and protecting each others backs. It portrays a lot about the relationship that these two must have in the book.ReplyDelete
Sounds like a good read too.
YEs! that's what i thought too but i couldn't seem to manage to put it into words. it's a little like she is taking power from the flowers and transfering to him... a great partnership at teh minimum but the blurb do make us hope for moreDelete
( i do hope this book will be in paperback too)
Great assessment as usual Josette!Delete
I think the cover totally reflects the title! =D
And why am I suddenly nostalgic for Rainbow Brite? ;-)
You're showing your age! lol!Delete
LOL! I hadn't realised that! =P But it was a really great time to be young, so I guess I should just own it! ;-)
:-) You wear it well!Delete
