The Surrender Series by Priscilla West ~ Review and Giveaway

Forbidden Surrender

The minute I saw Vincent Sorenson, I knew he was trouble. Billionaire. Bad boy. And dangerously sexy. He was everything I craved, and nothing I needed.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t just avoid him. The higher ups at my company decided they needed his business, and I was on the team to bring him in. Vincent Sorenson didn’t seem as interested in business as he was in me, but I knew that was a door better left unopened. If I got involved with him, it would only unearth the pain I spent years trying to bury.

I thought I had it under control, but I seriously underestimated Vincent’s seductive charm and silver-tongue. I would soon find out how delicious it would feel to let myself fall into this forbidden surrender.

Secret Surrender

I knew that giving in to Vincent Sorenson was a risk, but it was one I was willing to take. I had hidden my heart for so long and for the first time in a long time, Vincent was close to breaking down the walls.

When a trip to Vincent’s exclusive private island reveals the real Vincent underneath the layers of suave nonchalance, I thought we were close to the start of something special.

Just when things were looking up for us, I would discover the one secret that Vincent never intended for me to find

“What gives you a thrill Kristen?”

The conclusion to the Surrender Series by Priscilla West.

No one is who they seem to be.

Kristen let Vincent into her heart because he seemed so different from everyone in her conservative world of wealth management. She thought they shared something special, but when she realizes that Vincent has been playing her the entire time, her heart is crushed.

As Kristen’s relationship with Vincent reaches a crisis point, a man from Kristen’s past returns looking for a second chance. Is her ex-boyfriend really looking for redemption or is his goal something more sinister?

Kristen struggles to hold herself together, until she discovers a revelation that will change everything.

My Thoughts:

I read all three books! They are all only appropriate for adults. They are very erotic. ;-)

All three books contain a heroine with a backbone, an extreme sports loving billionaire hero, sexy scenes, suspense, romance, and some drama.

Kristin is a wealth manager who meets Vincent while trying to get his account for her firm.

Their attraction is instant and though she tries to steer clear of any type of physical act, it seems to be impossible to dissuade him.

In addition to Kristin's job, she is also hesitant to start anything because she's had some bad experiences with a prior boyfriend and she no longer trusts men.

There is something about Vincent though and she eventually decides to give him a chance.

The second book picks up where book one left off. In this book, the lovebirds have their first and second fight. There are more secrets being kept in this book and it just may cause irreparable problems in their relationship.

The last book is the conclusion of the series. Marty the ex makes an appearance and brings lots of danger with him. There was more action in this book. I liked it but I felt that the ending could have been a tad smoother and more fleshed out. It felt a little rushed.

All three books are fairly short and have more of a novella or serial feel to them. I'd suggest reading all three back to back in order to get your feel. :-) I did.

If you like billionaire bad boys or erotic romance, you might consider adding this to your WTRAFS list.

I received ecopies of all three books in exchange for my honest opinion. I really did like them quite a bit. I found myself on pins and needles a few times wondering what direction the story was going to go in. I was surprised by some of the twists or turns. I was suspicious, angry, sympathetic, sad and happy at different moments through out the books. Any book that can make me feel is a winner in my book!

  2. If it's for your WTRAFS list then i guess it's not for me right now but to be honest i was put off by the fact "he layed her all along"^^ i also wonder though... why is it always the man how is filthy rich?!

    1. True. I think it goes back to when the man was always the provider. I don't know if I would respond as well to the couple if the woman was taking care of the man.

    2. i'm not saying the relation would be opposite ( though it could be something curious to read) but a more equal relationship would be interesting too because in this kind of story we finish by lbelieve the woman has no choice at the end because he has all teh power over her

  3. These are not my kind of books but erotica has gotten more popular over the years. And miki has a pint of the rich male stereotype.
