Review ~ The Werewolf Wears Prada by Kristin Miller

Melina Rosenthal worships at the altar of all things fashion. Her dream is to work for the crème de la crème fashion magazine, Eclipse, and she'll do much anything to get there. Even fixing up the image of a gorgeous, sexy public figure who's all playboy, all the time. Even if he's the guy who broke her heart a year ago...

Even if Hayden Dean is a werewolf.

Since his father's death, Hayden's the heir apparent to the San Francisco Wolf Pack—well, once he settles down. Hayden isn't interested in giving up his partying ways, except he's pretty sure he's found his fated mate, and the fact that she's a non-shifter is bad news. Now he must find a compromise between the traditions of his wolf world and his certainty that Melina is his...before fate (or another werewolf) bites them both in the butt.

My Thoughts:

I have read some of Kristin's other werewolf books so I had to give this one a go when the opportunity presented itself. :-)

The Werewolf Wears Prada is the first book in the San Francisco Pack series. In this book you will find some fashion (don't be scared if you are not a fashionista, it's not too bad), some drama, a feisty heroine, a wolfish hero who's heart is in the right place, a traitor, secrets, rogues, some danger, romance, and some steam too. ;-)

Melina is a reporter who is trying to climb her way up to a better position in her career. She meet Hayden the first time when she was doing an article. They hit it off and she thought he was wonderful. He did something after that and her opinion of him plummeted.

Fast forward and she is given another opportunity to get ahead. The catch is she has to write an article making Hayden look good. Hah! The fates are cruel. ;-) Or maybe they know what they are doing?

Hayden is not happy to be placed so close to Melina again. He has his reasons and though it is extremely hard for him, he does his best to keep distance between them.

Oh the chemistry between these two! I just wanted to shake Hayden a few times and say quit trying to be noble and give in! I loved both of them and I can't wait for a certain other wolf to find his mate. maybe in the next book?

If you like werewolves, an exciting, adrenaline spiking plot, humor, and some romance this is a book that you need to read! It is live today so you don't have to wait!

I received an ecopy from NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion. I had a howling good time while reading it and I will be watching for the next book. ;-)

    1. It doesn't really matter where you start. This is a new series so this would be fine.
