My Thoughts:

This book was a really quick read but there was a good bit of story between those pages!

Basically this was a story of a man named Ryker who fell in love with a woman named Jenna  Theirs was a forbidden love.

You see, Ryker was a hunter and so was all of the members of his family. They hunted darklings, supernatural beings that were perceived to be evil such as vampires, werewolves and witches.

Jenna felt that by leaving Ryker, she would save him from having to choose between her (a witch) and his family. That was just wishful thinking though because the day has come that her name was brought to their attention with the order to kill her.

Ryker was awesome. He was good, loyal, caring.... all of the things we love in a hero. :-) Jenna was a decent character too. She was selfless, trying to spare Ryker the pain of making a difficult choice.

This quickie had some steam, ;-) romance, action, suspense and a band of brothers to keep us entertained in future books. :D

I liked it and I think you will too! I received an ecopy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.
