Reads and Feeds with a giveaway?

This R&F post is going to be a little different. Or maybe a lot different.

One of the series that I have loved the longest has been the Vampire Academy series. Since I am going to see the movie in a couple of days, I wanted to share these books with you again. The pictures show the reading order for those of you who haven't already read all of them. You can click on the pictures to go to the Goodreads link for purchase info or blurbs.

I have read all of them a few times. I also have the first book of the spin off series but I must admit that I haven't read it. I loved Rose so much that I can't make myself read that book because it is not from her POV. :-(

Now comes the hard part. What do you suggest to eat while talking vampire books?

I would say something with a red sauce, ;-) but depending on the vampires, you may want to avoid garlic.

    Hm.. I have a whole bunch of alcoholic drinks that I have for Vampires but I don't know about food. LOL Maybe these cinnamon apples that my family makes. They ooze red. I need to send you the recipe for them. Maybe that can be my next reads and feeds since I have to send you some. :)
    I loved this series too! I admit I still need to read the last one and I have the first in the spin off but haven't read that either. I may reread these again soon. Let me know what you think of the movie! I don't think I will be able to see it for awhile at least not for another couple of weeks.

      I will definitely let you guys know by Wednesday what I thought of the movie. I've heard both good & bad reviews for it most of the bad seemed to revolve around my fear ~ Dimitri. Some say the actor just didn't cut it. We'll see. Anyway, I just reread book one to be prepared for the movie. :-)

      That recipe sounds great. You could either suggest some spicy/sweet reads or you could tell us some of your fav vamp reads or maybe you have another idea, either way I'm sure it will be a hit!

      I can't believe you haven't read Last Sacrifice. Tsk! Tsk! It was GOOOOOOODDDDDDDD! :-) It was an awesome ending to the series!

    I would serve filet mignon to a vampire. I have read & LOVED all of these books. My favorite is Frostbite. I would like to win book 1 Vampire Academy. Thanks for the chance. :D

    1)What would you serve a vampire?
    Easy peasy, my fav at the moment.........red velvet cake with cherry filling

    2)My fav book in the series is Blood promise while my fav character is Dimitri.

    3)I'd like to win Bloodlines beause I haven't read it and I hear that it's incredible <3

    I really need to see where i'm in the series because i can't remember so i perhaps will have to start from the start again but i told you i planned too after that since i'm reading it in french i will have to find the missing book.

    i'm curious about teh spin off , i know it's not easy to change the main point of view and often i'ma little disappointed when it happen but perhaps for once it would be the oone i prefer, who knows^^


    now what i would serve to a vampire, really that'sa good question and i really don't know i have idea for cocktail, but food...that'sa mystery i guess i often read they couldn't eat and thus i haven't though of it but as soon as i get an idea i will let you know

      :-) I think that helps to keep things interesting when we have different circumstances for different vampires depending on the series or author. So yes some vampires eat! Good Luck!

      We could think of it as it takes place in the same world but brand new series? I dont know. I'm hesitant too on spin offs when I love the original so much but shes a good author so I'm sure its great.

      It is the same series but a new POV. The same characters are in it just almost no Rose & Dimitri, but mainly Jill, Adrian & Sydney.

    I've read the first two book of the series! I love Rose's character very much, she's such a kick-ass! But.. my sister told me the ending of the series and now I'm not really sure I want to continue. I hope now that the movie is out I'll get motivated :)

    I have read the Vampire Academy series and enjoyed it very much. Even though I have Bloodlines, I have not read it yet. I would love to win a copy of The Golden Lily (Bloodlines #2).

    I would feed a vampire a Bloody Mary and a very rare steak.

    Food to serve with this post how bout tomato juice, popcorn dyed red, and red m&m's now for what to serve vampires I don't know because I've never met one but when I do I'll ask them and let you know

      I've had red popcorn! it was cinnamon. Wasn't for me but some people liked it.

      really sometimes the food found in the USA astonishe me... i'm sure i wouldn't even want to try red popcorn^^ ( not fan of normal one either)

    I would probably serve vampires red velvet cake (GEDDIT? What makes the cake red...) then I'd probably serve it with clotted cream. Blood...clots....clotted cream? Haha!

    If you loved the Vampire Academy series then you must read Bloodlines and the books in that series. I too loved Rose as the narrator. And I really did not think that there was anyway that I could love these new books narrated by Sydney as much as i loved VA. But after reading the first four books in the series I have to say that I may even love these books more. They are amazing.

      i've read the first 1 or 2 and i did love them ( it was the reason i bought the vampire academy series in fact) i'm curious about her new series though ( game of gods?) and i'm not sure wheiother to add it ort not on my list ( but it will be translated this year too since quick translating work)

    I have read the series and really enjoyed all the books. I can't really pick a favorite but I'd probably pick the first book to win.

    I have read the first 4 and I love all of them..I mean they are all so amazing!!I love the sassy badass Rose's attitude and also how her character grows in the series!
    Also I'm deeply in love with Adrian <3
    My favourite is Shadow Kiss and I would like to win it!! :D
