Blurb:
Zoe Oliver never wanted to be on another reality TV show… until Chip Cormack made an offer too good to refuse. He’s guaranteed her a payday this time and a chance to redeem herself in America’s eyes. But Zoe worries she won’t be able to focus as her desire for Chip grows and her strength to resist him weakens. When she learns she’ll be roughing it in the woods with Chip and without luxuries like indoor plumbing and electricity, she’s instantly on edge, feeling naked and terrified that her scars will be exposed and her secrets revealed. When Zoe’s past turns up on the show, she fears she’ll lose not only the life she’s sacrificed everything else to have, but also the affections of the only man she’s ever trusted with her heart.

My Thoughts:
This is the third book in the Reality TV series. Unfortunately, it is also the last book. :-(
Each book is stand alone but I've enjoyed all three of them including this one. Even though you could skip the first two and just read this one, I wouldn't advise it. Falling For You (book one) was my favorite of the three and Stuck on You (book two) was my next favorite but they were all good.:-)
I think the reason this was my least favorite was because Zoe was my least favorite of the characters even though I like her better after reading this book then I did originally. :-)
This book threw Chip and Zoe together in yet a different reality TV show. I enjoyed seeing Zoe out of her element. This was a great ending to the series. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I am looking forward to seeing what Heather Thurmeier will have in store for us now that this series is over.
I recommend this series to those of you looking for something different to read in the romance arena.
I received an ecopy of this book from Tasty Book Tours in exchange for my honest opinion.

sometimes it's hard to part with teh first impression we got of a character....and it affect how we feel their story but that's human reaction so don't worryy^^ and i think i would read this in order to understand where they come from thought it's great the author managed to make they works as stand alone i really appreciate that
ReplyDeletei don't have a favourite reality show, i'm not interested in them ( in fact tv is teh less of my interest right now)
lol! I used to watch so many of them. I watched American Idol, The Voice, The Bachelor, Extreme Makeover, etc...
DeleteSomehow I escaped from that addiction and I got even more engrossed in reading (I didn't think that was possible).
reading is safer^^ in my opinion^^
DeleteDefinitely safer! LOL And much more fun!
DeleteI've been cutting back on how much TV I watch overall and sadly a few reality TV shows haven't made the keep list. But at least I have more time for reading! Thanks for stopping by my blog tour!

Deletehum i absolutely don't know this one i guess it hasn't been adapted in europe ( or in a french speaking country at least) yet
DeleteI hesr alot about this one I just never got a chance to watch it. I'll have to try it. :)
DeleteI used to watch it faithfully but now I only watch until they get to the stage and then I get bored. It's too many hours of TV per week for one show in my opinion. Thanks for stopping by my blog tour!
DeleteI'm not a big fan of any reality TV show. I do love watching American Pickers, does that count?
ReplyDeleteKit3247(at)aol(dot)com
I don't think so but my boys like to watch it, especially the hubby.
DeleteI've been intrigued by this series since your reviews so I'll def. have to try them. I've been the same way with other characters where I didnt like them in other stories and then they get there own and I've been hesitant to read them but find myself really surprised. :) At least there all out now so no waiting when I finish the first. :D Thanks for the reviews!
ReplyDeleteand I LOVE Face Off. some of the stuff the make on that show is soo amazing. I dont really do that much reality shows. Oh and cupcake wars. I watch that one alot.
I've never watched either of those.
DeleteHi VampedChik, I hope you'll check out the series now that you can read it straight through. And I *hope* you end up loving Zoe by the end. She was a really fun character to write in each book. She always says things I'd never dream of saying in real life!
DeleteI usually do like those characters! :D I look forward to reading them! I've had my eye on them since Brenda reviewed the 1st. I just hadnt gotten a chance to get them yet.
DeleteThe bachelor
ReplyDeleteThat's my fave! That and Survivor and Amazing Race.
DeleteI don't watch much reality tv. I have watched Face Off and found it fascinating.
ReplyDeleteIm glad im not the only one! :D
DeleteI've never watched Face off. Maybe I'll have to check that one out.
DeleteI'm not a huge fan of TV unless its the news. I really don't care for it and I'm so busy that I don't have time for it.
ReplyDeleteI guess I would have to choose The Voice because I have at least seen it because I'm a fan of Blake Shelton. But I'm certainly not a huge fan or watch it regularly. Sorry!
Thanks :-)
Lori

I never heard of that one but it definitely sounds intriguing! LOL I'll have to look for it.
Deletei just remembered one that i watched ^^ sos nanny ( so happy i was a really quiet child in comparaison^^)
DeleteI've seen one of those. Those kids are insane! I used to nanny for a friend of ours and the little boy has autism so he could be a challenge sometimes but no where near what those kids do! He is a really sweet kid, so Im definitely not complaining!
Deleteautism made it difficult but not his fault....while for those kids man if i was teh mother i would be ashamed ( and some let them really do everything EVERYTHING..... sometime si was like "if they couldn't manage one kid why did they want more to complain after" ( because one was really complaining to be having too many kids but it's the parents faults not teh kids!).... i really hope the selected the worse case because it make me afraid ^^
DeleteOh no. He is such an amazing kid. We never let his autism stop him. Sometimes he may not have understood stuff as quickly or wanted to but I loved working with him. His little brother has it too which is so sad. Their both such sweet boys. I love when they come and visit me. They moved to North Carolina a few years ago so we dont get to see them much. And I totally blame the parents for the kids on those shows. They let it get to the point where those kids would act out. My parents were very lenient with us but they did still have rules.
Deletemy parents weren't strict..; ok when i was little my mother was my father was the opposite but politness for example was mandatory no matter the circumstances and if we did some mistakes we could be punished ( depending on what we did wrong of course) it wasn't physical except on rare occasion but let be honest a spanking never killed someone and it could save life too ( now it must be for good reason not just because you are frustrated or afraid)
Deletemy brotherdoesn't want to admit it but he is a talented teacher for children with problem ( i use" problem" because i don't think about autism only but also simply some difficulties, children put aside, ostracices etc etc so that include a lot.... yes they often have harder but they also try harder and i really admire them for that)
No I completely agree with you that autism isnt something bad. There are alot of misconceptions out there about it. I have the up most respect for those kids. I have watched alot of kids over the years and he was the best one. He was 2 when I started watching him and 5 and 1/2 when they moved so it was a great expierence. He was really no different then any other kid and I never treated him any different. He just had to work harder sometimes.
DeleteIm with you on the spanking. Theres a big difference between beating a child and spanking them. My parents only did it on a rare occasion and it was never hard. I think it hurt them more than it did us. its really interesting to see how times have changed.
true and let's be honest the child isn't hurt he is more surprised than anything and that's why he can cry^^;;
Deleteyes times have changed but for that i don't think they changed in teh right way when we see what children are able to do now...they speak of they rights but they forgets that they haves" devoirs", must do too they think young mean impunity
Yes. I always thought that it was more of a humiliation when you got spanked. Not on purpose mind you but thats what I always felt. and I agree with you completely. Some parents are soo afraid of being accused of child abuse or whatnot if they spank their kids that they basically will just yell and half the time the child doesnt listen so nothings really resolved. I used to see it all the time at work, where these kids would run rampant. So yea its all just very interesting.
Deleteit makes thing hard for teachers.... they can't even give them a unition ( like copy 5 times x words) or the parents become cray with anger... then they complain when the result are bad or when their child has a bad behaviour
DeleteTo me thats on the parents. If your child did wrong then there should be some sort of punishment. I know with my brothers with their kids they do time outs or different sorts of punishments. They arent cruel about them but its so that the kids learn that its not ok. I remember with my nephew he was going through a hitting stage so we had to teach him thats not ok. He got his hand slapped a few times. (mind you it was VERY gentle) just enough for him to know that it ment no.
DeleteI think this is a subject we could go on about forever! LOL
yes^^ guess we could stop here ^^ but it was an interesting subject too ( a little aside the topic of reality tv but still^^)
Deletehaha I love how we totally go on a different track from what we started with. :) and its definitely an interesting subject.
