Happy Independence day!
Thank you to all the men and women of the military and their family members too!
Our freedom may not be possible without all of your sacrifices.
I wish everyone a happy, healthy holiday spent with friends and family if possible. I urge you all to be safe in any case. Don't drink and drive and if you are celebrating with fireworks, please be careful. Accidents do happen. :-(
In an effort to celebrate with all of you, I'd like to offer a giveaway. :-)
You all know how much I love and respect Indie authors. Because this is the fourth of July and I love Indie Authors, I offer you the Indie Dependence giveaway! ;-)
This giveaway is open to followers age 13 or older. International followers are welcome to enter too. :-)
There will be three winners. Each will get their choice of book from their favorite Indie author. They may choose from Kindle, Nook, or Smashwords ($3.99 or less) as long as the book is available in the prefered format.
Which Indie are you most dependent on?
How are you spending your Fourth of July?
Happy Independence Day! :-)

ReplyDeleteThanks! I hope you enjoy it too!
DeleteHappy Independence Day too all that it concerns. i wish you all the best but like brenda said also remember to be careful!!
ReplyDeletehave a fabulous day .
note: i'm sure i read indie author but sometime si'm not sure who is indie and who is not so^^ i will have to look at your recommendation
o,ki if mafia secret that you introduced me to is from an indie autho that's probably the one i would pick ( or one with a shifter true...)
DeleteThanks Miki. :-) Good luck!
DeleteHappy Fourth of July! I'm not sure which authors are indie. If I won I would select a book in the paranormal/urban fantasy genre. Thanks for the great giveaway.
ReplyDelete^^ like you but i when looking from the books Brenda shared with us those who aren't in paperback to start with then those when it wasn't a publisher but only the author name in the post^^;;
DeleteIndie authors are those that are Independant of the big publishers. Some times it is hard to tell which ones are which. lol!
ReplyDeletehaha tell me about it! There are sooo many publishers! When i was working at the bookstore it was a pain in the butt to keep track of which books go to where.
DeleteOh my gosh! Why didn't any of you mention that I forgot to add the form? lol! Sorry about that!
ReplyDeleteI've added it, feel free to enter now! :-)
don't worry i didn't said anything because i thought it was a giveaway in which it was only necessarily to comment no form needed if it was a one day giveaway for example^^
Deletewe are all fine after all it was a holiday day for you too you could enjoy it with family without thinking about us^^ but oki nexttime if i have a doubt i will send you an email
Thanks Miki. You always have my back. :D
Deletethat's what friends are for
DeleteHey! Thanks so much for the giveaway! Happy fourth! I would love to win Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire (if it was less than 3.99 xD)
ReplyDeleteJackie
hi jackie.... beautiful disaster is published by simon and suchlter or something so i don't think it's an indie ( it was perhaps before but not now)
DeleteRight as usual Miki.
DeleteIM NOT SURE WHO IS INDI OR NOT. SPENT THE DAY WITH FAMILY. THANKS FOR THE GIVEAWAY! SHELLEY S. calicolady60@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteI hope everyone had a great holiday! And Im not really sure who my fav is. I read ALOT so its hard to keep track of who is considered indie and what not.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. :D Basically if they are not backed by a major publisher, I consider them an Indie. I know there is more to it than that but that is my thinking.
DeleteI completely agree with that theory. :)
Deleteit's a way to do it ^^ and since i use your way ^^ we are both using that element to determine if it's indie or not but now some author started being published then went indie or have a series published and the other self published thus indie... i had to change several from my little pre made list really frustrating
DeleteI know, right?
DeleteI have no clue what I would even pick if I was chosen. Its so hard now a days to keep track. I know a few of the authors that I follow have like 3 different publishers. Very frustrating.
Deleteyou can do like me first selection something brenda featured, then something only in ebook format ( often the case for indie).. you can pick teh donor for example or the new one^^ it help to choose^^
DeleteI wanted to say THANK YOU BRENDA!!! :D
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Amber. :-) I hope you enjoy it.
Deletethank you a lot Brenda, i will tell you what i think of the book once i finish it.
