Review ~ One More Chance (Part #2) by T. Renee Fike

Me... what can I say...I love to read books!!!

I hang out with friends and love my sports!! NFL Football is my favorite... GO EAGLES!!

I have my bachelor's degree in Business/Human Resources Management and currently working towards my Masters in Management!

A friend encouraged me to write a book and I can say it's exhilarating and I can't even begin to form words on how I feel right now.

Synopsis:

Haley has always lived in the shadows of her identical twin Kenzie. Moving on to different colleges, Haley decides to show people who she is and who she wants to be. Setting her sites on Liam, the boy she’s always wanted, she takes a chance that can cost her everything.

Liam Masters, the football jock known by many, is cocky, stubborn, and gorgeous. Liam has always gotten what he’s wanted, that is until he finds out the girl he’s known forever uses him. Torn and shattered, he loses it deciding to cause havoc to her life

Quinn, Haley’s best friend and roommate at college has seen and heard everything. What she didn’t expect was for Liam to actually show his true feelings for Haley.

Can Quinn help Haley find herself and her true love?

All it takes is one chance.

After disaster strikes between Haley and Liam, her life is tattered. She’s back at school and hating life while Liam is moving on with his. Chemistry, history, and desire surface when they are unexpectedly reunited.
While pushing past her feelings, she tries to move on, discovering something she never imagined.
How can things go from great to horrible at the snap of a finger?
When Hayley is given the opportunity of a lifetime she takes it. Liam wants nothing more than to be supportive; the only issue is how do you move on when you’re still in love with someone?
When tragedy strikes everything is put into perspective, decisions are made and lives are changed.
Will Liam and Haley be able to move on and be happy or do they need to give it one more chance?

My Thoughts:

This is the second book. It was preceded by One Chance. You can see my review and the purchase links for it here.

This book basically picked up where One Chance left off.  You could read this book without reading book one but I advise reading them in order so that you can get a better understanding of what happened.

In this book many of the characters behaved differently. Kenzie (the evil twin) did almost a complete 180! Brody acted much better too.

My favorite characters Haley and Quinn were pretty much the same which was great.

Liam, unfortunately, didn't get much better. :-( Don't get me wrong, he's not evil or anything but I was hoping that he would come crawling back realizing how wrong he was at the end of book one. He didn't and I can't forgive him for being stupid. He angers me many times during this book. What can I say, men, grrr!

I have to say that he is not the only guilty party and Haley angers me a little two. Mostly I just wanted to reach into the book and knock some sense into both of them. It was a clear case of no communication and jumping to conclusions.

One More Chance is another encompassing, frustrating, romantic, dramatic, emotion wrenching book from a very talented author.

The writing style was sassy and real. The pace was quick, and the length was on the moderate side. The ending was awesome and I hope to see more of these characters.

If you haven't experienced any of T. Renee Fike's books, you are truly missing out. You can't help but connect with her characters.

I received an ecopy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. I thought it was another not to be missed, can't put it down, I can't wait to read more, oh so good book
