VBT: Review ~ My Wicked Valentine by April Angel

Book Description:

Who knew being wicked could be this fun?

Maxwell Stone has wanted Sabrina for over a year. But Nina’s the ultimate professional and has no intention of getting involved.

That is, until the night she gets a little tipsy and finds herself begging for his touch.

After an intense night of making Nina’s sexual fantasies come true, Max finds he doesn’t want to let her go. Nina wants Maxwell too, but she won’t put her job on the line for any man.

She loves the passion they shared, but when she’s invited to the Wicked Valentine Ball, she decides it’s time to put Max out of her mind. Of course, the last thing she expects is for him to be her escort.

And she doesn’t expect to find someone else trying to keep them apart.

Permanently…

My Thoughts:

Adults only!!!!

As with all of April Angel's other books that I've read, I LOVED it! What is not to like? My Wicked Valentine was super Hot and steamy, only 78 pages long but a full length erotic story!

This book picks up with the characters from Mr. Buff! Nina is the leading lady in this book but Alex is in it too!

The plot had romance, scenes that are extremely erotic, some threatening calls, some kinky experiences, mystery, danger, and a hot and hunky Man that won't take no for an answer.

I love the characters, the plot, the page count, the naughtiness, everything!

I recommend this and all of April Angel's books to everyone who is looking for a really hot romantic read. If you like your romances super hot and steamy, and haven't given her books a try, you are really missing out!!!

I received a copy of this book from Bewitching Book Tours in exchange for my honest opinion. I honestly loved it. It was scorching Hot!

Do you have plans for Valentines Day?

I'd love to know what you're thinking. Please leave a comment!

Is it so bad that my Valentine's Day plans involve taking the late shift at work? =P I'm sorry, but there's nothing romantic to report on my end!

Whoever wrote the plot summary for this did a great job. It literally raised my eyebrows in the end and made me curious about the story. =) And I'm commenting on the writing of the synopsis rather than the writing of the novel because there is no excerpt. Then again, given your review, I understand why! ;-)

    1. Sorry! I know how much you enjoy excerpts but there wasn't one included.

    2. I don't have plans either. If the hubby and I do go out, it would be on a different day. Neither of us are very patient and we prefer to go out when it is not really crowded.

I usually get the kids a box of chocolate and we usually trade valentines but that's the extent of it. It sounds pathetic but it works for us!

  2. Don't Worry Enbrethiliel, nothing romantic on my side either ^^. But i will try to take care of me becaus ei have the right to love myself ( in fact i even should!) so i will take the time to read with a cup of tea and probably an ice cream just to offer me something i like^^

The summary is sure to attract interest but i haven't read anything by this author yes so i'm not sure i'm ready for something so steamy. You say it's the second book... can those be read as stand alone or you recommend to read them in order? ( just in case i let myself be tempted^^;;)

Thanks, Miki! Reading with tea or ice cream sounds like a good idea. =)

    2. They can stand alone but the first one, Mr. Buff, was even better so I would read them in order. I reviewed it too (Just in case you wanted to see if you would like it).

I like your Valentine's plans. Do you read a romance by chance?

    3. Your plans sound great to me Miki! I love to read with a Chai tea latte myself. If I read a book like this, then hubby will probably have a good Valentines as well LOL

  3. Good Day everyone! The hubby gifted me just today with a lovely necklace with lots of personal meaning for Valentines Day. After 21 years, we just do what we want, when we want ;) On the actual day, hmmmm, might go out for dinner with the kids and hubby. That would take care of all of my loved ones.

I already have Wicked Valentine waiting on my Kindle. It will be my second story by this author. Not sure her writing is good for the short story arena after the first book (didn't have enough time to get to know the characters) but definitely a talented writer. Will have to see how this second story goes.

    1. OH, I should mention that the first book was under the name Milly Taiden.

    2. Josette,

She writes under both names but Mr. Buff was the first book in this series and it was written under the name April Angel. I reviewed it already.

It was actually the first one of her books that I had read. I really liked it. Is that the same book that you read?

    3. I meant that the first book I read was under the name Milly... It was called Wynter's Captive. It was a good story, but just ended way too quickly for me.

    4. I agree. I would have liked Wynter's Captive to be longer as well. I really liked it though.

  4. Dang, now I want to read this book after reading your thoughts on it, lol.
Hmmm, plans for Valentines Day? Nope, I never make the plans, I am just told to keep my day free. My hubby makes all the plans for Valentines Day. I just normally have a gift prepared for him.
