The Breeders by Katie French

"The Breeders is a YA dystopian read that's as gritty and dark as the cover and title suggest. It takes a look at how society might devolve if females were commodities: bought, sold, stolen, and traded to keep the dwindling human race going. Frightening concept. I loved it." --A.G. Henley, author of The Scourge

  1. I don't think a book interest me this time. Perhaps it's because i already have some i really want to red in my pile or simply because i'm sick again and thus i don't feel like reading so i guess it could have something to do with my lack of interest too^^ When i'm like this the book must really shine to me to cath my interest^^

    4. I've been dealing with some illnesses recently too Miki. Really messed up my online time. Thought I was finally seeing the light at the end of tunnel in time for my trip to Tennessee at the end of March. That went really well, but now I have a horrible head cold. Chest hurts, nose is stuffed, the pressure in my head makes me feel light headed as well. Sigh. It just feels like it is one thing after another with me. SIGH. If I didn't have responsibilities I would be in bed all day reading... there's not much that can keep me from reading ;) Hope you feel better soon. I know I'm hoping the same thing for myself.

  3. I actually have the Blue Hearts of Mars on my Kindle. Not sure when I'll get the chance to read it, but it sounded good.

Right now, I'm fighting an awful cold. So, I'm just trying to get caught up on some online items that I need to get done, rest, and read. So, maybe I'll get a chance to get a few more TBR items knocked off the list ;)

  5. I'm not really interested in any of the books mentioned above but that's because I haven't seen any of them before. I'll have to check them out and if I like something I'll definitely read them.
    Thanks for the great giveaway!
