Dancers have a show. Bachelors have a show. Singers have a show.
Now authors do too. It’s called The Next Bestseller.
In NYC, seven authors compete for a hundred grand, a publishing contract with Bright House, and the title of the next bestseller. One is Felicity James. One is Victor Guzman.
Despite their attraction for each other, only one can win.
Drama, plagiarism, and trash talk ensue as all seven contestants compete against each other in challenges ranging from writing queries to working with editors. One-by-one, they’re eliminated. Meanwhile, Victor and Felicity start a showmance that could cost them.
Though only one can walk away with the title, they can both get a chance at love…if they open themselves up to it.

i'm a little curious, i guess it could help readers to have a better idea of what a author needs to be able to do that could be interesting. now that put into a show i'm a little unsure but it could be something good yes
ReplyDeletethe cover seems really appropriate i like that we go from color to black and white like if teh man was more a character , an element of the story of one of the protagonist while it could also be the male protagonist himself
I like it. Its an interesting concept. I like that the covers simple but still appealing.
ReplyDeleteThe story sounds very interesting, but the cover does not appeal to me.
ReplyDeleteI was not fond of the cover either but the story looks appealing.
ReplyDeleteThank you, everyone. And thank you, Brenda, for hosting me.
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely a different storyline than what I've seen. I've added it to my TBR. However, I will have to say that I didn't add it to my TBR based on the cover. It's kind of ho-hum. Not intriguing at all for me. I read the blurb because it was on this blog and the blurb caught my interest.
