GGMMMU ~ Beings with unexplained powers or unique abilities

We are beginning our celebration of all things supernatural with beings that don't fit into any certain mold. :D These are not witches, werewolves, vampires, fairies, Gods, shifters, angels,  demons....... Most often these other creatures are in the story though.

Forgive me if I feature some of the same books as last year but I have some series and authors that I favor and I can't pass up any chance to remind you of them. :-)

2. denoting events or phenomena such as telekinesis or clairvoyance that are beyond the scope of normal scientific understanding
