My Thoughts:
This is the first book from this author/series that I've read. The first book is Through His Eyes. The second is Through His Touch. I had no trouble following the story as the book did well as a stand alone. It did however, make me want to read the first two books. :-)
I really enjoyed the relationship between Levi and Trudy. I felt for both of them, what they suffered through in their pasts and also the insults and hatred that they still suffer from.
I had fun with the bickering between the two and I thought the dog's name was fitting but funny.
There were plenty of sexy and romantic parts also. ;-)
The main focus was the mystery of where a little girl named Rachel was, if she was okay, who took her, and how to get her back.
The plot was compelling, suspenseful, interesting and romantic. It was also sad and dramatic at times. I hope that there will be more books to come now that I discovered this couple.
I would recommend this to anyone who likes romantic suspense or psychics.
I received an ecopy in exchange for my honest opinion. I was riveted and really hope to see more books.
Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the interview. Thank you for your insight!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your thoughts.. I love a good suspense novel so I'm looking forward to reading this one! :)
ReplyDeleteHi, everyone! It's great to meet with you on this "crazy" blog site! I especially appreciate that fabulous review! I DO so hope you read the first two books! They are stand-alone as far as each detective case goes, but the relationship of Levi and Trudy extends throughout the series. I think you'll love them even more as you see their growth and the love sparking and then flaming between them!
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading Everyone!
