featuring those sexy Fueled by Lust alien alpha males!

Lust series, now available via Siren/BookStrand and coming soon to major e-retailers.

About
LUCIEN:
Emperor
Lucien Tarquinius agrees to retrieve the future king of a race that annihilated
every Insedi female and doomed his planet’s future. Why would he do such a
thing? Simple. He cannot have his enemy retake the throne and continue the war
against Insedivertus. Yet, an unexpected encounter changes everything.
Just
one day away from collecting the reluctant ruler, the royal transport
inexplicably disappears from its flight path. As the empire scrambles to find
their missing emperor, Lucien embarks on a journey that challenges his
intellect, tests his endurance, and pushes his emotions to the breaking point.
Tana
Jameson wonders who she pissed off to warrant an investigative assignment
aboard a cargo ship in the middle of the Atlantic. A moment of curiosity
jettisons her into an alien world beyond her imagination and directly into the
arms of a man stepping right out of her wildest fantasy.

About Celeste Prater:
I was born and raised in a small town between Dallas/Fort Worth
and Austin. Wanting to see more than my small Texas town, I joined the Marines,
which satisfied my craving to see more of the U.S. and drive to see if I could
be one of the few and the proud.
A firm believer in educating the mind, I have achieved several advanced degrees, the latest being a Masters of Science.
My true love is writing erotic romance, especially about alien hunks that know how to treat their females.
Drusus, Severus, Cato, Lucien, Petrus, Maxim, Caelius, and many more have swirled in my dreams until I had to bring them to life and allow them to find love within the pages of the FUELED BY LUST book series.

My Thoughts:
I liked the title and the cover was an eyefull! The first quarter of the book felt like it dragged a little. Then it seemed to pick up the pace.
It stood alone but I can't help but feel that reading the previous three books first would have made it easier to understand what was going on with the different species and characters.
I was releaved and totally hooked about 40% into the book when it became more focused on the love intrests. It had my rapt attention after that.
This book had some danger, plotting, attacking, aliens of different species, action, romance, sexy scenes, a strong heroine, a plethora of alpha males who know how to treat a woman. ;-)
The only complaint that I have other than it being a tad slow in the beginning, is that periodically throughout the book, it jumps back and forth between two different sets of characters and it doesn't give you a warning. I tend to be easily confused by this sort of thing.
If you like loads of action or aliens, you would like this book.
I received an ecopy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. I liked it. I will add the other books in this series to my stack of alien books that I need to read.

Deletea pleasure as always!
DeleteHi! Yep! I always warn people that this is an intricate series and the lives of the characters interweave throughout. Makes much more sense if you start at the beginning. This book transitions easily from the end of book 3. I'll make sure not to ask for reviews unless ALL are provided at the same time. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you a lot for coming to see and and for these infos. Brenda is really interested and thus making us want to read them as well so don't hesitate to contact us for future releases for example.
Deletei do think giving precedents books to reviewers who didn't have them before could be a great bonus especially when the stories are intricated ( but also that's what we love in series^^)
Is there projet for print releases as well?
I liked it but I feel like I may have loved it if I had read the previous books. That is why I recommended for others to read them in order. I would have gladly read the other books first if they had been offered or recommended.
DeleteAs Miki said, thanks so much for stopping by and don't hesitate to let us know of upcoming events or books. I'm happy to help promote. :-)
If you'd like the 1st 3 in the series, go to my publicist's site at http://www.barclaypublicity.com/books-available-for-review.html and make a request (DRUSUS, SEVERUS, AND CATO). Just let them know I sent you. :-) Yes, each book comes out in print 5 months after it's been out as e-read. Drusus is already out at Amazon and B&N. It's the 6x9 High Gloss version (print on demand). Thanks for having me here today! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you a lot for this, i also checked and the print book is available on thebookdepository which it's even greater for international reader like me^^
DeleteThe fact your books will be all available in print really makes me delighted
Is your offer open to Brenda ( who reviewed this) as well? (i'm just helping today as she is enjoying a few days of vacation well deserved^^) Thank you a lot in any case
We are really hapoy to have you come and answer us, it's not always that authors come interact with us so it's more than appreciated
Oh, yes definitely open to Brenda as well. Thanks for letting me know it was on the other site as print. Didn't realize that! :-) Loved talking with you today! Contact me anytime. My info is on my website. Have a great weekend! :-)
DeleteThanks so much. I'll contact them after I return. :-) I can't wait to get caught up on everything that I've missed.
DeleteThank you for both of us^^ ( now i will see if they do accept^^ but i 'm really happy for the opportunity)
Deletethank you
You're both quite welcome! :-) I sent the comment thread to my publicist and asked her release them to you both if you made a request. She said she would. I will definitely let you know when the next one is coming. I'm finishing up Book 5 as we speak and should have at publishers next week. Book 6 is already brewing inside my zany brain. Have a great weekend everyone! :-) C.
Deletei've sent an email ( since there was no room in the form to explain^^) i will complete the form later if necessary. Thank you a lot for letting them know though
DeleteAny idea of how many books the series will count in total? ( and yes please don't hesitate to let us know when book 5 is ready^^)
Sorry, just saw your post. Was deep in edits on book 5 so I can get it out by Monday. Regarding amount of books, I'll keep writing them until all the stories are told, or the readers tell me to hang it up. LOL! Seriously, I'm thinking I may stop at ten. However, I've seen some really good series continue much longer. I'll only continue as long as the ideas are fresh and I don't short change the readers. That's what's important to me. Yes, will definitely let you know when book 5 is available. Thanks for asking! :-) C.
DeleteDon't worry i keep coming to check the commenst so even a later reply is way more appreciated than no answer at all^^
Deletethank you a lot for answering me^^
Hey Brenda and Miki! Did you get the first 3 books from my publicist? If not, let me know and I'll get them to you. :-)
DeleteHi Celeste!
DeleteI used the form and requested them but I haven't heard anything back and I did not receive them. :-( Thank you. It would be great if you could check and see why they didn't send them. I would appreciate it.
Tell you what. I'll send them directly to you. Email me at celeste.prater@yahoo.com and I'll send them over. It shouldn't have taken them that long to forward them to you.
DeleteThat's a period (.) between my name. Can't see it very clearly with this font.
DeleteGood deal! :-) Enjoy your vacation! C. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI'll definitely add this series to my list. :) I'll start with book one first. :) I'm touch and go with alien series but this one sounds really good and interesting.
ReplyDeleteit's really tempting don't you think? even more when we know how "strict/ difficult" Brenda is for book with alien so when she loves it as much as to want to read all teh series we can be assured it's really good and more
Deleteyes. I know that generally when one of you 2 like it then I will. :)
DeleteThis looks good, I love series and anything wear the characters keep going. thanks for the giveaway
ReplyDeleteHi, Brenda! I sent over the 3 books via email. Let me know if you got them okay. :-)
ReplyDeleteI got them! :D Thank you. I have a few others that I am reading for scheduled reviews and then I'll be off to camp again. While at camp, I plan to indulge in them if I don't break down and start before then. I am so tempted to start them now, believe me!
DeleteI will let you know as soon as I have them done and then I can update my Goodreads review for Lucien too. I am so excited!
Excellent! No rush! Just glad you get a chance to read them all. :-)
