Hello September, so long hot, blazing days of summer. As the days go from roaring fire to to a much more manageable blaze, the kids are now in school during the day. YAY!!!!!
I still find myself with way to many books that I want to read and not enough time to accomplish this daunting feat. I need to find a better balance. I keep telling myself to limit the amount of tours that I take part in and then I'd have more time to read the books that I've bought. The problem is that I'm a book addict and these tours are like crack to me. Why? They offer me a free book to read and most of them offer you guys a giveaway too. How can I say no? I start out trying to limit it to every other day but then an invitation will come that I can't pass up, and another and another. You get the point. This is both good and bad.
I'll get will power somehow. Hopefully soon!

I'm thinking about doing a Mythical Monster Mash Challenge closer to Halloween. This will be similar to my Alpha Arcade that is held in the Spring. The difference and possibly the more challenging part will be that it will include all different supes, weres and shifters, vamps, witches. etc... You get the idea, anything goes.
What do you think, would you be up for a challenge of this magnitude or should I limit the monsters?

Later this month, I'll be hosting the Reads and Feeds post. It will be a compiltion of my vacation highlights, some of our favorite camp grub, and some of the books that I managed to read while there. I am excited to share with you and I hope you will enjoy it. :-)
Oh and I should mention that I've added to new entries to the CIG (Comment Incentive Giveaway).

There were only eight people who entered last month. That's pretty sad. You only have to comment once during the whole month to enter. Is it that difficult? Any other suggestions?
Oh well either way, I'm more than thankful for those of you who take the time to talk with me and this Incentive was created for that reason. I still hope to have more people comment but if they don't it's their loss, right?

DeleteFor the contests i don't mind at all ( there are still some you can enter i'm sure^^)i guess i will have less time but i will do what i can. However i'm not that sure putting there here is the more convenient, perhaps making another post like " Lovers of books sharing with you" or " If luck is on your side" etc
now like i said i don't mind but i'm afraid for those who enter the cig later in teh month the number of comment can be dissuasive...after all one of the entry in the form is usually commenting on this post and last month only 3 of us did ( perhaps 4 if i missed one) and you said 8 entered... before i think commenting on this post at least had more facility

Most of the summer I spent reading as much as I could, I hate being behind on GoodReads Reading Challenge so I usually like to be finished with it by the start of November. Then I just read on low pressure or re-read some of my long time favorites. I think I'm 26 books ahead already, thanks to summer time ;)

Yay! I love when school is in session! :) My nephew is finally in school so I can have some more time to myself during the day. I love the little booger but he doesnt want to grasp the whole personal space thing.

All this family drama. :( I may not be around much come the middle of Sept too. Thats when the funeral is. But other than that Im here for ya! :)Oh and the monster challenge would be fun. But you have to make the clues easy since some people may not really branch into those other supes and whatnot.

so not necessarily easier clues after it's still a challenge but more precise one perhaps

DeleteYou did more than well last time yes so if it was only one kind of monster i wouldn't have any doubts at all but i discovered some book with different monster having the same title for example^^ so that could be problematic if we don't know what to look for.

Other than books that I consider obvious like Twilight, Harry Potter, etc..., I try to either have them pictured or use books that we've recently discussed. That gives an advantage to those of you who actually stop by each day. I dont want to make it too easy though!
