Author Info

Kimberly Kincaid writes contemporary romance that splits the difference between sexy and sweet. When she's not sitting cross-legged in an ancient desk chair known as "The Pleather Bomber", she can be found practicing obscene amounts of yoga, whipping up anything from enchiladas to éclairs in her kitchen, or curled up with her nose in a book. Kimberly is a 2011 RWA Golden Heart® finalist who lives (and writes!) by the mantra that food is love. She has written two digital novellas, Love On The Line and Drawing The Line, about hot cops and sexy chefs, with a third novella, Outside The Lines, due this summer. She is also thrilled to have collaborated on a Christmas anthology with Donna Kauffman and Kate Angell, titled The Sugar Cookie Sweetheart Swap, to kick off her Pine Mountain foodie series with Kensington this October. Kimberly’s first full-length novel, Turn Up the Heat, will follow in February 2014. She resides in northern Virginia with her wildly patient husband and their three daughters.

 My Thoughts:

This is a great compilation of stories that can get you in the holiday mood. All of the stories were sweetly romantic. There were three stories in all and they flowed into each other so well that it was like reading one story. This is an awesome feat considering the stories were written by three different authors. :-)

They follow three friends and each story is about baking.   These were charming and fun to read. They were all fairly short but written well and didn't leave me needing more. :-)

I liked them all but in my opinion, the best was last, Sugar and Spice by Kimberly Kincaid.

Lilly and Pete were competing against each other in a cookie contest. Both of them had good reasons for winning. Their ovens were hot but their attraction was scorching (after a misunderstanding was cleared up that is).

If you are looking for something light and fun, or in the mood for a holiday read, you really should read this book.

I received an ecopy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. These were a perfect blend of sweet and spicy giving us a lovely holiday read with plenty of laughs.  They were delicious. :-)

  1. for later this year perhaps i admit i can enjoy holiday contemporary romance better when it's holiday time^^ but what i appreciate even more is that you felt like it was only one big story it's proof the authors complemented each other really well and that makes me want to try it even if it's not my favourite genre
