Sedona Venez is guest posting today! :-)

10 Things I Bet You Didn’t Know About Storm (Storm) Credence from “Breaking the Storm”

Okay… so I thought it would be fun to do a post about “Ten Things” I bet you didn’t know about Storm Credence (the main character) from “Breaking the Storm”. So here we go…

1. She was born and raised in New York… Go New York!!

2. She’s a shoe fanatic.

3. She is a descendant of witches.

4. Storm despises wolf-shifters… but Knox eventually changes her opinion on that topic.

5. She loves all things music… especially Knox.

6. Storm has a tattoo of a nude witch riding a broom on her back.

7. Her favorite season is… Fall.

8. After a hard day of work… Storm strips down to her fishnets and nothing else for a half of hour.

9. Her all-time favorite music artist… Knox Gunner.

10. Storm’s favorite cuisine is Thai.

Thank you for enlightening us. :-) I easily figured out #5. lol!

My Thoughts:

First let me say that I really liked the cover. ;-)

I had a hard time getting into this book at first. The prelude was a little daunting for me.

It didn't take long to get back in the grove though and in the end I liked Breaking the Storm.

I really would recommend this book to those of you who like shifters and magic, music and curses. There was so much sizzle that I would only recommend it to adults! ;-)

I liked Knox better in the beginning of the book than in the end. While he was definitely an Alpha male, I wasn't feeling his Dom ways. He even seemed cruel when he called her his slut. I was not impressed.

Storm seemed to be very clueless a couple times and I was frustrated with her as well.

This story as over too quickly but had an ending that I can live with. :-) I'll look forward to reading the next book in the series.

I received an ecopy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. This book is good. The only reason it wasn't great (in my opinion) was Knox's Dom like tendencies and Storm's too easy acceptance as well as her lack of common sense at times.

      As for camping,

It was eventful. One of the twins had to get stitches. :-( The shock on his bike broke catapulting him. It knocked the wind out of him. I was surprised that he wasn't worse off than he was. Now we are finishing school shopping and getting ready for school to start next week. Yay!!! (for the start of school not the shopping lol!)

    1. It's really not as bad as some of the others that I've read but perhaps you should hold back if you are apprehensive. At least wait and see what Amber thinks. :-)

    3. Geez all this pressure on me with books! LOL I dont mind the bdsm stuff that much but sometimes I agree that it gets to be too much. I could never do it though. I'd laugh in their face when they wanted to boss me around.

    8. The whole point of it is supposed to be trust and stuff so they arent really hurting you but I just dont see myself ever being able to go into that mindset.

      Delete
    9. ...i still don't see what trust has to do with speaking badly to someone...
